Intro to Musical Theater

Intro to Musical Theater will build a foundation for Broadway-style musical theater dance and alternative movement styles. We will explore theatrical dance styles and choreography, both past and present, and learn original Broadway choreography. With additional focus on stage presence, audition/rehearsal etiquette, conditioning, expanding knowledge of Broadway history and vocabulary, and becoming comfortable on stage, this class will be a fun opportunity to expand upon previous dance training or understand the basics of musical theater dance.
